A little gem in the heart of cornwall where special memories of a lifetime will be made. Every cove, every corner you'll find a natural beauty all around. Padstow Harbour

A firm favourite to visit when your in Padstow. Filled with children fishing for crabs, array of boats moored up on their holidays or fishermen coming in with their catches of the day. There is something really special with the atmosphere the harbour provokes. 

You can find some solice in a lot of the quayside inns, cafes and seats that surround overlooking the calm waters of the harbour. 

Eating out 

A real mixture of great eateries in Padstow. Michelin star restaurants, local family pubs, scrummy cafes, hidden tearooms and traditional pubs. Whether you prefer picking up a traditional Cornish pasty or you fancy more fine dining there really is something for everyone.

Camel Trail 

A popular attraction for anyone visiting the area. You can walk or cycle the camel trail which is runs between Padstow, Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin. Dogs are welcome on the trail and can also join in with the family day out, why not hire a dog friendly bike so they can travel in style. Be sure to where comfy shoes. 

Stunning beaches 

North Cornwall provides some of the best, if not the best beaches and coves Cornwall has to offer. All offer stunning sandy beaches that can stretch for miles when the tide is out, stunning sunsets, and dog friendly all year round. In height of the season you find lovely tea and coffee huts on the beaches and surfing equipment to hire or buy. 

Hawkers cove is located around 15 minute walk from Padstow harbour and is a great find for families and dogs. Sweeping sandy beaches and married with a coastal footpath makes a brilliant day out. Provides stunning views over to Rock and Daymer bay. Why not hop over to rock on the ferry from Padstow. Saves the 30 minute drive.  


Attractions and Historical Locations

Just located on around from Hawkers cove, Padstow still holds the RNLI lifeboat station since 1825, which is now set at Trevose Head in a cove in Polventon Bay. 

In the heart of Padstow take a trip to the museum which holds wonderful history of the harbour. 

Take a trip to the beautiful Prideaux Place, originated from 1592 and generations have lived there for over 400 years.
